Gary has been incredibly helpful and reassuring throughout the entire process. We cannot fault the service we received. He was always just on the end of the email or phone no matter how small or large the questions. We have recommended him and Warwick FS to all of our friends.

You will naturally have questions about fees. To provide accurate details of what we charge, we first need to meet you and get a really good understanding of your needs. That way we can ensure we are charging fairly, based on the complexity and level of work you need us to undertake. However, there are some questions clients commonly ask, which we are able to answer at this stage.

Do I have to pay for my initial meeting with you?

No. We believe it’s very important you have a chance to get to know us, understand how we work and how we may be able to help you before you part with any money. For this reason, Warwick Financial Solutions will cover the cost of our first meeting and discussions with you. At this meeting you will be able to ask us questions and get to know us better before making your decision.

At the end of that meeting, if you feel that we can help you, we will explain our charges and how they can be paid. You will know exactly what you will be paying. That means no surprises or ‘hidden extras’ further down the line!

We will discuss fees and ask for payment at the following stages in your journey with us:

Stage 1 – Initial meeting

At the end of this meeting, before proceeding to Stage 2, we will discuss fees and how they are payable with you. You will not be charged for any work until we have agreed the fees and you have asked us to proceed.

Stage 2 – Working out your goals

You will pay an initial minimum fee in order for us to proceed with your work.

Stage 3 Research and Analysis

Thorough and in-depth to build a detailed and accurate picture

Stage 4 Financial Plan and Recommendations

We produce your personal plan

Stages 5 and 6 – Implementation, ongoing monitoring and review

We will charge you an ongoing fee that represents a % of the investments we manage for you to implement your plan and keep your plans under ongoing monitoring and review.

For more explanation of what happens at each of these stages, visit ‘The Stages of your Journey’ page.

Is financial planning worth the fees?

Ask any of our team and they will answer that question with a resounding “yes!”. Of course, you may think we would say that, wouldn’t we! But our enthusiasm comes from the fact we see the positive results of our work every day. We know that personalised financial planning has the ability to transform lives, deliver financial freedom and enable clients to live comfortable, fulfilled and secure lives.

You may also be interested to know that recent studies have also shown that financial planning can bring both financial and emotional gains for clients.

Measuring value

According to joint research from Royal London and the International Longevity Centre published in 2017, individuals who take advice on their investments can end up with £41,099 in additional wealth per person. Households that received advice ended up between 16% and 21% better off than those that didn’t. The benefits of advice were particularly significant for those people who took advice more than once.

There’s more than one way to measure value. Of course, you will want to feel assured that in financial terms you will see value for money but there are many other benefits too.

A recent report by Royal London found those clients who were engaged in ongoing financial planning overwhelmingly reported an improvement in their emotional wellbeing. Clients reported an increased sense of security and reported feeling better about their money and themselves.

I have always found your company and your team to be very informative, helpful and well-organised. Following your suggestion to inform HMRC of the change in my investments, I have just received a cheque from them. I am delighted that I took your advice!
